Oakland County Highest Real Estate Sales for 2010

Highland highest sale for 2010This is a continuation of an earlier post, highlighting some of the largest 2010 sales in Oakland County.

The Highland Township high sale was a bank owned contemporary that sold for 3/4 of a million after 37 days on the market. This 5013 square foot, 4 bedroom home is tucked away on 2 acres behind a privacy gate. Five full baths, three half baths, in-law quarters, over 3700 additional finished square footage in the basement, inground pool, 6 car garage and an incredible view of White Lake. The six car garage would appeal to the auto lover. Taxes were just over $33,000.

The Farmington Hills high sale for 2010 was a new build that sold for $675,000. It was a 4000 sq ft., two story colonial with 4 bedrooms, 2 full and 2 half baths on a 90×160 lot.

Cumberland_trail_milfordMilford’s highest real estate sale for 2010 was a roomy 5319 square foot home with 5 bedrooms, 4.1 baths on a 4+ acre lot that sold for $760,000 after 787 days on the market. The Italian design may be have the new owners belting out tunes from the opera balcony overlooking the Great Room. Along with the four car garage, pool, & hot tub, there is also a finished basement with a media room and wine cellar. Taxes were below $14,000.View the virtual tour here.

10700 BOGIE LAKE RD- white lake michiganThe highest sale in 2010 in the White Lake area was a 9500 square foot custom built home on Sugden Lake. The sandy beach and four acres were nice exterior features while 6 bedrooms, 5.2 baths, 4 car garage, 2 custom kitchens and a finished lower level rounded out the interior benefits. Taxes were $17,000.

Waterford’s highest 2010 sale was an Elizabeth Lake waterfront home. The upscale lodge design offers 5 bedrooms, 5.1 baths, 4057 square feet with a finished walk out basement and $11,000 in taxes. It was on the market for nearly a year. Take a virtual tour here.
